Floods Present No Problem For Binz

This summer's floods caught a great number of people by surprise, with J&M Humphris of Banbury being just one of the unfortunate victims. The floods created havoc locally and resulted in the firm's hearse being swamped and as a consequence, written off. While not an 'emergency service' as such,  the funeral profession is one business where a transport problem cannot be tolerated and a rapid solution was required.

A visit to the National Funeral Exhibition - ironically enough surrounded by flooding itself - brought proprietor Chris Humphris to the Binz stand where he was impressed not only with the quality of the vehicles and the level of product knowledge of the Binz team, but by the firm's ability to supply a fully equipped ready-to-operate Binz 5 door hearse from stock.

Mr Humphris said, "We saw the Binz Mercedes-Benz based hearses at the Stoneleigh show and were very impressed with the vehicle. We are now delighted to have taken ownership of such a stunning-looking hearse and would like to thank Binz for their exceptional service in our hour of need"

Sales Director at Binz, Kevin Smith added, " As Binz actually manufactures brand new vehicles rather than being a converter, we are normally in the position of being able to hold stock. This in turn means that we can always give our clients a fast turnaround on their purchase of a new Binz: delivery times are normally measured in weeks rather than months."

With a production line in Germany to be kept rolling, Binz UK ensures that it always has at least one or two new vehicles reserved for immediate delivery. Binz limousines and hearses are built to Mercedes-Benz engineering-approved design criteria, with each car having an individual certificate of conformity and full and proper registration documents which identifies it as a Binz by the VIN number, unlike many other extended chassis limousines and hearses which are conversions of a pre-registered donor vehicle.
