Dishwasher?
Pacifiers, teats and bottles should not be cleaned in a dishwasher. Dishwasher detergents can cause material damage, and cleaning pacifiers in the dishwasher may reduce their durability.
For cleaning, use NUK Bottle Cleanser or a mild washing‑up liquid. Remove food residues thoroughly, including from hidden surfaces. Soak the product if necessary, but do not scratch the inside of the bottle. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Sterilising the Bottle
When sterilising plastic bottles, do not exceed a maximum temperature of 100 °C (see symbol on the bottle). For boiling or steam sterilising, always dismantle the bottle into its individual components and leave it open to avoid deformation. To prevent material damage, always follow the instructions for use of the steriliser.

1. Cleaning before first use
Before first use, disassemble the product and clean all components. Boil in water for approximately 5 minutes to ensure hygiene.
Before each subsequent use, clean carefully with NUK Bottle Cleanser or a mild washing‑up liquid and disinfect as needed. Remove food residues thoroughly, including from hidden surfaces. Soak the product if necessary and rinse thoroughly. After cleaning, allow all components to dry completely; squeeze any residual water out of the teat.
For boiling or steam sterilising, always dismantle bottles into their individual components and leave them open to avoid deformation. For sterilisation, we recommend the NUK Steam Steriliser or NUK Microwave Steam Steriliser. Always follow the steriliser manufacturer’s instructions to prevent material damage.
2. Hygienic microwave sterilisation (pacifier box)
Observe the microwave manufacturer’s instructions. Fill the pacifier box with water up to the marking and insert the pacifier. Place the closed box off‑centre on the turntable and heat only according to the time and power specified on the box. Leave the microwave closed for 5 minutes. Carefully pour away remaining water (caution: risk of scalding).
3. Heating bottles
Never heat up or cool down closed bottles (risk of explosion or material damage). Take extra care when heating in the microwave, as localised overheating may occur. Always stir heated food thoroughly and check the temperature before feeding.
4. Storage
Store products dry, protected from light, and hygienic.
5. Replacement advice
Replace teats and pacifiers after 1–2 months for safety and hygiene reasons, as material strength may decrease even without visible damage. If a bottle shows internal damage, such as scratches, it should be replaced for hygiene reasons.
For Your Child’s Safety and Health
WARNING / CAUTION!
Always use this product under adult supervision.
Inspect bottles, feeding teats and pacifiers before each use and pull the teat in all directions. Discard immediately at the first signs of damage or weakness.
Keep all components not in use, including boxes, out of the reach of children.
Never attach cords, ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing to bottles or pacifiers. Risk of strangulation.
Use only pacifier chains that comply with EN 12586. Never attach other cords or strings to a pacifier.
Never use feeding teats as a soother.
In rare cases, a child may take the entire pacifier into the mouth. Stay calm: the pacifier cannot be swallowed, and ventilation holes in the shield ensure breathing. Remove it gently from the child’s mouth.
Feeding and Preparation Instructions
When preparing infant formula or tea, always follow the food manufacturer’s instructions.
To retain vitamins and nutrients, the temperature should not exceed 60 °C.
Only administer food and drink in the quantity and consistency recommended by the manufacturer.
Always check food temperature before feeding.
From 5 months, gradually transition your baby to a beaker.
Important Notes for Feeding Teats
Before each use, softly squeeze the vent and drinking hole/slit to ensure it is open.
Do not dip teats or pacifiers in medicine or sweet substances.
Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids can cause tooth decay – this may occur even with non‑sweetened drinks.
Material and Care Information
Do not expose bottles, teats or pacifiers to direct sunlight or heat sources, and do not leave them in disinfectant (“sterilising solution”) longer than recommended, as this may weaken the material.
Certain foods may discolour the material (e.g. carrot juice) or affect odour (e.g. fennel tea); this does not affect safety or suitability for use.
Temperature‑based colour‑changing indicators are sensitive to moist heat and descaling and may fade over time with frequent boiling or steaming.
