Finding the perfect bottle for your baby is simpler than you think! Here's what to consider for your baby:
Material & size: Decide between glass (pure and scratch resistant) and plastic (light and resistant)…. baby’s age and appetite. Tip: start with small bottles and size up if needed.
Teat flow & shape: Match the flow to your baby's age (slower flow for newborns, faster flow for older babies).
Tip: Start with slow flow teats (size « S ») and size up, if needed. Typical signs to size up is when the baby seems frustrated. If milk is leaking out of baby’s mouth, it is usually a sign that milk flow is too fast, and a slower flow can be tried.

If the food is too hot, the normally blue indicator changes to white. Important: the NUK temperature control Indicator acts as an additional check. Therefore, the temperature of warm drinks should be checked with a few drops on the wrist. Ideally, the liquid should be at body temperature (37 °C = medium blue).

For your baby's tummy, it's always best to prepare their bottle just before feeding! We advise against making bottles too far in advance, as bacteria can sometimes grow. If you ever find yourself in a very special, exceptional moment where you simply must prepare it ahead, please pop it in the fridge right away and make sure your little one enjoys it within the hour. Always a fresh, happy feed for your baby!
